We answer email.
Seabirds is built and supported by Seabatt Digital LLC. There's no ticket bot, no help desk maze — just an inbox we read every day.
Common questions
How do I report a bug or crash?
Email support@4370.io with your iPhone model, iOS version, and a short description of what you were doing. Screen recordings help. We don't collect crash logs automatically — privacy by design — so the more detail you can paste in, the faster we can fix it.
How do I delete my saved spots?
Open the History tab and swipe left on any entry to delete it individually. To wipe everything at once, delete the app from your home screen — there is no server-side copy to clean up.
How do I export to Garmin?
On the camera screen, tap Send to GPS once a flock is detected, or tap any saved spot in the History tab and choose Export. Seabirds writes a .gpx file and hands it to the iOS share sheet — pick Garmin Connect, AirDrop to your chartplotter, or save to Files.
Can I use Seabirds on iPad?
v1 ships iPhone-only. iPad support is on the roadmap; the camera HUD layout needs a meaningful redesign for the larger screen and we'd rather ship a proper iPad version than a stretched iPhone one.
What's the model trained on?
v1 uses a generic bird detector. We're collecting offshore footage to retrain a Seabirds-specific model that handles long-range coastal birds (terns, petrels, shearwaters) more reliably. If you want to contribute footage, email support@4370.io.
I want early access — TestFlight?
Email support@4370.io with the subject Seabirds TestFlight. We'll add you to the next build invite. Early testers get a free Pro upgrade for life when (and if) we add a Pro tier.
